Since its launch in late September
2010, our BG BritPOP IOM design has near dominated the International One Metre
class with the following results:
2nd European Championships 2010, 1st USA Championships 2010, 1st Australian
Championships 2011, 1st, 2nd, 3rd World Championships 2011, 1st Great Britain
Championships 2011, 2nd Italian championships 2011, 1st USA Championships 2011,
along with winning all but 1 day of racing in 8 GBR national ranking races.
You could say "It's quite a fast boat"
Our BritPOP IOM design is now being produced
under licence to us by the following 3 International builders.
They have been chosen by us based on experience, build quality,
passion and their commitment to our BritPOP project.
All orders/expressions of interest received by us at BG were forwarded on to our
builders in the form of a "Master List". All skippers on this list were
contacted and have now chosen their builder of choice. With all 3 builders
having lists in place, we look forward to seeing BritPOP's with their new owners
worldwide in 2012 and beyond!

A basic rigging guide will be made
available to all customers upon receipt of deposit with your builder of
choice. Our full BG Rigging and Tuning guide will be available free of charge to
anyone ordering/using our BG Sails, which should be ordered with us at the time
of placing your boat order as we regularly have extended lead times on sails.
For any customer not wishing to use our BG sails, we will be happy to make
available our BG Rigging and Tuning guide
at cost.
